Bubikon

Project Cantrix was scheduled to perform at the Misteria Paschalia Festival in Krakow, Poland, for Easter 2021. Despite the high likelihood that the pandemic would disrupt all plans, the concert by the Peregrina ensemble was not entirely cancelled, and the opportunity arose to preserve the programme for St John the Baptist and the courtly music of Aragon praising Queen Sancha.

The organisers transformed the impossible live concerts into a professional TV recording.

As travel was widely restricted, Ensemble Peregrina, together with the Order of Malta and the Order of St John of Switzerland, recorded its Cantrix programme within the walls of the Commandery in Bubikon (1192), Switzerland.

For several days, musicians and technicians worked in the extremely cold surroundings of the Bubikon Commandery. The temperature in the church was recorded as 4°C.
